1-on-1 and Group Journeys of Aliveness

Years as a trauma therapist have given me a front-row seat to the consequences of smothered aliveness.  A lifetime as an artist has taught me the vast potential of Life Force unrestrained. Together, these paths have brought me to Essence Activation (EA): a co-creative practice for reclaiming and amplifying aliveness. 

EA remixes elements of inner child work, Somatic Experiencing, and EMDR with visualization, movement, sound, and other forms of energy work. Often similar to a gentle psychedelic experience, the EA journey helps individuals, couples, and groups access the wisdom and power of their Essence (the Higher Self) without substances or intense spiritual processes.

EA is intended for creators, healers, and changemakers—those hungry to stretch the limits of human consciousness. Previous experience with inner work is recommended.

EA is not a therapy or counseling service.

EA is fueled by the three nutrients of aliveness:

  • Noticing calls our attention to the present moment.  This nutrient focuses on mindful exchange of what is happening here and now, within and between us.  It invites us to follow the flow of emotions, thoughts, physical sensations, and other Life Forces into the unknown and unexpected.

  • The nutrient of allowing welcomes all parts of us, including our shadows. Emotional, mental, and physical disturbances are greeted as blocked or misdirected Life Force; as portals into wisdom and deeper connection with ourselves and others.  Choosing a relationship with our shadows is essential to free-flowing aliveness.

  • Alchemizing magnifies aliveness through spontaneous self-expression.  Whatever Life Force we notice and allow can be transformed into imagery, sound, movement, and so on.  The playful nature of this nutrient invites us into conscious authorship of the energies that move through us.

Flowing through these nutrients activates our aliveness, our Essence—a state of endless creativity and wisdom that is our birthright.
